Rates for Producer Services and Studio Musicians are project specific and are negotiated separately. MastanMusic studio is Open for sessions most days of the week by appointment only. Contact us for quotes and availability. We offer Mobile Digital Recording Services (up to 16 tracks in Pro Tools) available by appointment. There is a $150 set up fee and $125.00 an hr or portion there of + media charges. Two engineers will be present to make your live recording go smoothly. Please budget for post recording, mixing and editing time at the rates listed above. We also offer very informative Music Biz Consultation at $ 125.00 for the 1st hour and additional hours at $75.00 an hour. You’d be surprised what a great service this is. Media Charges will apply to any medium (Firewire Storage, CD, DVD, ADAT or Analog Tape, etc.) used to backup or record your project. If you‘re recording digitally, we recommend you buy a Firewire drive for backup purposes and for long term storage of your project. If you need help shopping for one, we will be glad to recommend one! We are able to back-up to DVD or CD on a daily basis, but it is not cost effective, because it takes a long time by comparison to a “Firewire dump”. Think of it as your Tape Cost. When the project is completed all digital files are backed-up to 2 sets of DVDs (charges apply) Engineers that currently work at MastanMusic Studio include: Jeremy Wilson, Sam Densmore, Jim Hage and Sean Flora. Typically, scheduling should be planned as far in advance as possible. Payment Policies and Procedures Mastan Music studio accepts payment of cash, check or by Visa and Mastercard that includes a 3% service charge (Pay Pal). A $100.00 per day deposit is due upon scheduling your time with MastanMusic Studio. Come on time! If you are late the clock starts without you. Your billed time will start when you scheduled it. Your deposit will not be refunded if the session is cancelled with less than 14 days notice. Exceptions will be made for serious illness or death, not for lack of rehearsal or money. *Your total balance is due in full upon receipt of ANY 2-track master. If you want to take rough mixes home in the middle of your block session, please be prepared to settle your balance due at the end of each session. NO MASTERS OF ANY KIND (THIS INCLUDES ROUGH MIXES, AUDIO FILES, SESSION FILES, ETC.) WILL BE RELEASED TO ANY CLIENT WITHOUT PAYMENT IN FULL FOR ALL SERVICES RENDERED UP UNTIL THAT TIME. It is recommended that clients obtain insurance to protect against possible damage expense or loss of article(s) of value left on the premises.
